So when you play DFS there are all kinds of Satellites to bigger contests, often there is overlay making them a good value at times.

I enter a $3 contest and win the first prize of a $100 ticket to an NBA brackets contest but in reading the fine print it turns out I cant even participate because of the state I live in.
So why let me enter to begin with?

Then as a consolation prize Im offered $10 in site credits in lieu of this ticket.

$3 dollar wager seems like a huge wager for someone you, living in Mom's basement and no job or income....
Yeah , I actually had to rob the paper boy in order to make this wager.
But that is what he gets for spreading fake news around the hood.

hurry up and eat your jello before it gets warm Gramps, CNN gonna still be there for you this afternoon.

That is a bunch of BS. I suggest you go to DK Corporate over it and raise a stink.

It doesn't matter if it's $3 or $300 dollars, the point is they allowed you to enter, you won fair and square and now you can't use it and they offer you $10 in site credits to play what exactly.

I'm not being like the other people, I would raise a lot of hell with them. Put it on X as well and embarrass the hell out of these clowns.

These places usually cover their asses in the fine print. My guess is it stated that those not in states to qualify for the $100 entry received a $10 credit instead. If that’s the case he has no gripe.

My question is why does your state allow you to bet on sports but can’t enter a basketball contest ?

The rules were in print..bright side is maggie is up 7 credits
He'd most likely have to actually deposit his other 3 bucks and win a 3 dollar bet to be made whole in his personal bank account.

God speed maggie...

Usually you can't even make a deposit with an outfit that won't allow payouts in a regulated state if your address is in that regulated state...even if its just your parents address and a 3 measly bucks.

And my account no longer shows that particular satellite contest being available to me so maybe I wasnt the ONLY person this happened to.

And I want to thank everyone for their concern about my finances...I can now officially afford to pay rent and the paper boy is safe
....FOR NOW!!!
